Scotland's current attempt to destroy the rule of law - a warning to all petty states and pushy princelettes

The Scottish government’s attempt to undermine judicial independence, and thereby abolish the rule of law, is deeply concerning – apparently to the judiciary too, and they should know!

We are heading for an Orban-style state in which pointless triumphalism, unfounded victimism and endless scams to “disappear” taxpayers’ cash is a substitute for good government.

Yousaf should mind his step or there’ll be tears before bedtime, as described here: https://thinkscotland.org/2023/12/learning-at-the-feet-of-erdogan-and-putin-humzas-abolition-of-judicial-independence/

Enjoy – but ponder too!

Don't cry for me, Michael Blubbington - weeping Scottish wanker blubs in parliament while pretending to be a minister but in fact lying about disappearing public money

Corruption loud and clear – Matheson the Blubber is still in government despite having, in effect, admitted to having lied. Yousaf thinks this OK. One wit on social media said the SNP is like Hamas in that it is happy to use children as human shields.

Until we get rid of this criminal gang, whose only interest is in plundering the public purse for their own personal advantage, Scotland will continue to die as a political nation. If they had weapons, they’d be like Mugabe.

And what is Mr Alister Jack, supposedly the guardian of BRITISH liberty in Scotland, doing about this? NOTHING. Does he realise that Scotland is part of the United Kingdom? Or is he just another plundering placeman waiting for his next salary and expenses cheque?

More on these themes, and the British constitution here: https://thinkscotland.org/2023/11/yousurf-matheson-and-titillating-football-in-morocco/

The book below is covered in the article:

Apparent criminality in the Scottish government - a comparison with China in 1793, when Lord Macartney visited

Now that we now that almost everyone of note in the SNP is trying to cover their tracks about their murderous Covid policy (which killed old agers in care homes due to infections received in hospitals), it seems pointless to comment on Scottish politics anymore.

We are the victims of a coup d’etat and neither of the two organisations which are supposed to safeguard legality, the British government (constitutional) and the Scottish police (criminal), seem interested in doing anything about it. Either they are corrupt or complacent.

What lessons can we derive in this crisis from the story of the mission of Lord Macartney to Peking in 1793 to open trade relations with the richest country on earth?

How meditating on seaweed can heal your psyche (as applied to modern Scottish politics)

Another post mocks the pretentions of modern Scottish politicians by making the analogy of how reading the seaweed fronds (like Scottish babushki used to read the tea-leaves) can help you understand the universal realities of egotism in public affairs.

The piece also introduces the great, modern philosopher and neuropsychiatrist, Dr Iain McGilchrist, who lives on the isle of Skye, near where the famous Talisker whisky is made.

The man who saved Britain from aggressive nationalism

Dude to perverted nationalism, we have a profoundly amateurish government in Scotland. The pseudo-government's chief job is to furnish themselves with gold-plated pensions while the country they are stealing from drowns in public debt, largely due to their incompetence and indifference to public opinion.

They are anti-democrats in an important sense and the article linked below illuminates that point by giving an example of the opposite, in the unlikely form of Neville Chamberlain--so long considered only the dupe of Hitler at Munich. In fact, he was the man who, in the 1930s, saved the country Yousaf is now trying to destroy. Yousaf, of course, is doing what the early SNP leaders tried to do during WWII when man y thought that they would prefer government by Hitler to the Beritish in London (which included many Scots). They were, and are, traitors.

Political carpet-baggers in Scotland today - nationalists are "the party of crooks and thieves"

Now that we know that the SNP government sprays gifts around to favourites who might be consolidated into a national patronage network, it is worth recalling just how well they treat themselves. The issue of Humza Yousaf’s extravagant hotel accommodation in London has suggested to many that simply spending tax-payers’ money is the way this government thinks it can staying in power.

This is a trick at least as old as the Mongol empire, whose ruling principle was to force subject peoples to finance, through tribute and forced recruitment, for their conquerors ability to keep the subjects in subjection. SNP corruption appears designed to achieve the same end.

Hamish Gobson argues from there to the surprising conclusion that Mrs Murrell and Alastair Jack might have more in common that we thought…. Something to do with tents, I gather!

Whales in Scotland and the paralysis of the political class

This piece is rather good on Lorna Slater - the Green Goddess of Scotland today - but in reality mutton dressed as cart-horse. She is clearly embarrassed about the intelligence of whales, a number of whom were recently stranded on a beach in the west of Scotland, on a romantic Hebridean isle.

Also our First Minister, Humza Yousaf (also known as “the Hamsta” as he spends his life spinning on a little wheel of insiderism in politics) needs to be unravelled. In the light of the mass stranding of refugee whales trying to get ashore in the Hebrides last weekend, the question arises:  what is the Islamic position on whales?

Here are some answers:

THREE new pieces today which might interest the reader wanting to improve their English - about Prigozhin and Bonnie Prince Charlie - Baden-Powell and the Boy Scouts - and about Scotland turning anti-bureaucratic

This the the main one - about Evgeny Prigozhin and Bonnie Prince Charlie:

TS 021 - BPCharlie and upkilting Humza

And this is about Robert Baden-Powell and the Scout movement in real life:

CSM HG 01 - Baden Powell

And here's a bonus track, so to speak, about the Orkney isles and their desire to get out of Scotland - and the Hebrides too. Everyone wants to leave the bureaucratic empire of modern, squalidly nationalist Scotland:

CapX 09 - Orkney and Norway

Another piece, both interesting and amusing, about George Washington and his latest competitor for the title of global revolutionary: Humza Yousaf

It is becoming increasingly obvious that Humza Yousaf does not have any idea HOW to fix the problems left over by the collapse of the Sturgeon regime. He may want to be “Continuity” Humza, but he does not have the basic skills necessary to do the job Sturgeon helped him get. For her, it seems that he was just “Contiguity” Humza, always hovering about, trying to look like the poor man’s Yevgeny Prigozhin (see, for example, his racist rant here:  Short 04 - Hate Crime Bill (Humza's Bummer, 2020) - YouTube ) He wasn’t even very good at that, though the Broughty Ferry nursery case had its ominous echoes of darker conflicts.

Once again, Scotland is the victim of nationalist conceit. Here is a short piece, published today, which presents a yardstick against which Mr Yousaf might usefully be measured: https://thinkscotland.org/2023/06/no-legislation-without-representation-why-george-washington-was-no-humza-yousaf/

Here is what the UNABOMBER said about modern psychoses

The Unabomber in his famous Manifesto, really explained modern politicians very well. This article covers Nicola Sturgeon (in fact "Mrs Murrell"), the scourge of modern Scotland with her vacuity, egotism, narcissism and, most important of all, her inferiority complex (like Louis XIV, it seems):

And another amusing post about the collapse of coherent government in Scotland due to its tsar-like approach to civil rights

Alexander II emancipated the serfs - will the Scottish government be able to do something equally creative? Doubtful, due to its traditions of secrecy, elitism and clannish authoritarianism. Unlike "the benevolent Tsar", our government treats power as a benefit not a responsibility. How very Putin of them!

Brilliant new article from Hamish Gobson - alias Hameesh al-Qobson....

TS 010 - Hidden hand on Humza’s tiller

This is all about post-political control of the perceived political process, as democracy sinks under the power of bureaucracy in the Google Empire.

It's funny too....

A new story from Hamish Gobson about dark deeds in the corridors of power in Scotland today

TS 006 - The Coronation of King Humza

Can this be for real??? See what YOU think!

This is the film referred to in the article - about the Hate Crime Act in Scotland, and My Yousaf's dark part in this appalling drama....

The Scottish parliament is NOT democratic

An interesting new essay on the undemocratic nature of the Scottish parliament, which is one of the reasons Nicola Sturgeon has been able to hang on to power for so long. She forced through laws which are repugnant to most Scots, like the Gender Recognition Reform Bill, which was vetoed by the UK parliament recently, and which probably led to Sturgeon's fall:
