The Scottish election debate - illiterate comment or "insurgent" denigration?

The use of the word "insurgent" in The Times yesterday, no less, in this context illustrates just how illiterate modern Britain is (in that it was only one of hundreds of such examples I have seen recently, from the Financial Times to the Daily Telegraph - see many examples in previous posts). 

The fact that the BBC seems to be joining the chase is alarming because, unlike the The Times, I would expect them to know what they are saying.

Time to get out and build a country that can speak ENGLISH?
